Momentum is a keyboard-driven task manager for Mac and iPhone, built by one person in Albuquerque. It's feature-complete and it works — which is exactly when you stop being able to see its problems. That's the job.

What you'd be testing

A task manager built around one loop: capture everything, triage the inbox to zero one decision at a time, and work a short honest list. A guided weekly review walks every active project — keep, hold, or drop — and a Stale view surfaces whatever you've been avoiding.

If you came up on Things 3, the layout and keyboard discipline will feel familiar. That's deliberate — it's an ancestor, not a target. Momentum adds the follow-through parts. Imports from Things 3, Todoist, Apple Reminders and OmniFocus, so switching costs minutes rather than a weekend.

  • Use it for real work for at least four weeks — not a test drive
  • Tell me when it breaks, via TestFlight or email
  • One four-minute survey around week three
  • Tolerance for weekly builds and the odd rough edge
Who I'm looking for

Roughly fifty people, chosen rather than first-come.

  • You run a real system today — Things, Todoist, OmniFocus, Reminders — and you have opinions about it
  • Mac-primary, ideally Mac and iPhone both, so sync gets a real workout
  • You've got a library worth importing. Beating up the importers with actual data is some of the most useful testing there is
  • You'll write back. A tester who files three real bug reports is worth ten who install it and vanish

Slots are capped so the feedback stays answerable by one person. If the beta's full, you'll go on the launch list instead — first in line when 1.0 ships, no other email from me in the meantime.
